Larry King last night

I'm still thinking about the Larry King interview last night with Steven Curtis Chapman and family. SCC wrote a new article for CNN.com here. The message he relays here is close to my heart and wish we, as the church, would truly take it to heart, myself included.

Larry recorded some thoughts on the interview here. Interesting.

At times it was hard to watch, raw and painful. At other times I couldn't believe how much of God's word and character were being displayed on CNN in prime time. I loved the end where they played the recently written last verse to the song "Yours", while showing pictures of Maria.

"I’ve walked the valley of death’s shadow
So deep and dark that I could barely breathe
I’ve had to let go of more than I could bear
And questioned everything that I believe
But still even here in this great darkness
A comfort and hope come breaking through
As I can say in life or death
God we belong to you
And we are yours, God, yours, God..."

Anyone else see it?

I haven't had the chance to watch it yet. But I have it recorded on my DVR! I have heard it was amazing though. Hard but Amazing. I just feel like I know this family ya know. Nobody that is close to me really follows them so I kinda feel weird feeling like this. Until I come here and realize there are more people that love this family so much and feel so close to them. Thanks for posting this. I will be watching it when I get home.

Love ya, Dani

Give your China baby a lil hug for me. :) She's such a cutie!

We just got home from Hawaii but I have the program tivoed and I plan to watch it when i have the time to sit and really take it in with no distractions. I have heard a lot about it and am eager to watch it but I know it is going to be an emotional ride. The chapmans amaze me and are such a wonderful example of faith in practice.

Christy :)
