See that little metal bar? It's the only thing that stands b/t you and a very painful death, not that I was thinking I was going to die or anything.
There was about 2 feet of dirt b/t the road and this drop off.

I don't think I've ever seen anything like these pictures! And I'm still shocked that there's still snow. It's funny, 'cause I've definitely been to the mountains before - Blue Ridge and Poconos and Smokeys. But for some reason, Colorado looks different. Maybe because they have different trees.
I'm glad you guys are having fun. I'm going back and check out the pics again. : )
What awesome pics-- wow the black canyon is beautiful. I agree the bar between death and life is probably not quite enough- at least for my hyper 7 year old :)
