I am deeply concerned...

I'll never forget the first time we put Piper (in China) in a dress and some fun shoes...she lit up, and we could tell that she felt oh so pretty.
Since that moment, she's had a fascination with shoes.
Footy pajamas don't stop this girl...
Just learning to walk, high heals....no problem!
Oh how she digs the shoes in the Old Navy girls department. She has nearly hyperventilated more than once over their sparkling beauty. I can always tell we are getting near the shoe department, in any store, when I hear the familiar sound of heavy breathing coming from the stroller.
I have never been a shoe girl, but I will say that Piper has me looking more than ever...
I think I can hear Scott hyperventilating now.

Hi - thank you so much for your kind comments on my blog!

omg - this story is SO funny!!! My 16 yo was the same way and is STILL that way. She is going to major at college in something to do with fashion. I made her wear black and white saddle oxfords for the first years of her life. I would just take her in for a bigger size. Once when she was about 2 - at the shoe department, she made a beeline for some sparkly maryjanes and refused to put on her saddle oxfords. Had a MAJOR temper tantrum. I believe parents should encourage whatever interests (as long as it's legal) that our child may exhibit. So, needless to say, that was the last pair of saddle oxfords she ever wore. Major temper tantrum!!!
