Style tips by Piper, 22 months old

By the time I found my camera, Piper had been carrying these 3 purses around for quite some time. She'd managed to keep them on as she looked at books, danced to music, and carried a grocery cart down the stairs!
She wasn't going to let go of those purses, even for some chocolate milk.
She had to adapt her keyboarding in order to keep the purses in tact. Eventually this became the last straw, and she looked at me and said, "Purses - OFF!!!".
Her original outfit this morning consisted of the pink shirt and black pants. She then brought me the jacket saying, "coat - ON!!!". When she and Ella emerged from their room, she'd added this lovely bikini to the mix.
You like???

God did a very good thing when he made kids cute. Somehow it makes up for all of the messes, the loss of sleep, time, money, energy...but I digress. I really enjoy watching them "become". All of their quirky ways make life so interesting in the midst of the most mundane tasks like laundry and dishes. Oh, and sweeping up the mess Piper made seconds after I took this photo, by dumping the bag of pretzels on the floor!

omg!!!! this is the cutest little girl ever!! with those purses!!!

This takes me back 16 years! I have a movie of my baby girl, (girly all the way), with all the clothes from her drawers strewn around her, crying, becuase she couldn't decide what to put on next. You can hear my voice say - having fun? It doesn't look like it.

And 16 years later, nothing mcuh has changed, the clothes are still strewn all around her, the cry is now - I have nothing to wear!!!

AND, I have to ask you, what is so funny about that painting, hmmmmm????? You think that fat tush is funny???? Lol :)

Piper is so cute. She really had a great personality. I am going to dig up a picture of Amanda "dressed up" and send it to you. It is so fun to see how they evolve.

Enjoy,
Lauren

Oh a girl after my own heart!! I so hope Mia is a girly girl like Piper. I just love all the fun stuff that goes along with being a girl-- obviously Piper does also!

Well, at least she is putting on. M is stripping every morning again. She'd rather play with cars and fight with her brothers than be a sweet little, dress-up girl and play with dolls.

Piper is definately a girly girl and has been since we met her. The first really big smile she gave us in China was when we put a new pair of pink shoes on her. She busted out with an all out grin and just kept looking at our shoes in amazement!
It was so funny!

Just checking back in on your blog...so precious!! I don't have a girlie girl at all, but most of her friends are.

I think you live NEAR ME! :-) We are in P**n*

Have you joined the Little Ladybugs playgroup? They have several girls who are 2-3. We go to a different one since most of the girls my daughter's age are in school and we meet Thursday afternoons after school.

You can join Little L from the F**NT site or email me and I will send you the link if you are interested.
